We cast all of our concrete slabs in house at
Slab-Fab-Studio, then deliver and install on your project site. We cast using melamine molds for a smooth refined cast
surface.
Every mold is custom made for the unique demands of each
project. We produce slabs of 1 1/2 inch thicknesses as our standard. We find this dimension elegant in appearance and substantial
in overall strength. We use masonry diamond lathe screen and ladder wire for
internal reinforcement. We make all of our own concrete from scratch, using as many
locally resourced materials as possible. Making our mixes from scratch affords us hands on design and
artistic control of our product outcome. We specialize in creating custom nuanced concrete coloration
options, including a wide range of natural and recycled glass aggregates, with
a focus on our clients specific design needs.
